Ngāti Porou Oranga are looking for experienced and passionate Registered Nurses to join our Case-Mix Ward Team at Te Puia Springs Hospital on thebeautiful East Coast.We have Permanent Full time/Part time&Casual positions available. As a Registered Nurse , this is a crucial role providing exceptional high-quality patient-centered care and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical/aged care/emergency and maternity wards, continuing the positive experience and support we provide to our close-knit communities across the East Coast.To be successful in this role, you will have: Current APC. A current Annual Practicing Certificate, ACLS Level 6 and Core Advance. Upholds the Treaty of Waitangi/Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles in all nursing practices. The ability to connect with patients on a personal level and show genuine empathy.Effective communication with patients, their families, and the healthcare team. A great team spirit with a drive to make a difference in the lives of others. Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to create effective working relationships. Flexibility, innovation, and openness to continuous learning in a changing environment.Promotes the image and practice of caring, supportive, and competent nursing. Availability to cover rostered shifts and participate in the On Call System as required. Full, clean NZ Driver License. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrates a range of skills, knowledge, and attitudes that contribute positively to the organisation’s purpose.Actively participates in performance management strategies that align with the goals and strategic direction of the organisation.
