We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a team, and is confident communicating and engaging with the community.Our ANZ Engagement and Social Planning Section partners with our clients and the broader Jacobs business to design, deliver and evaluate communications and engagement programs for major planning and infrastructure projects. We help our clients solve their most complex challenges, considering stakeholder and community risks, impacts and benefits, with the aim of delivering positive environmental and social outcomes. Our clients span the energy, water, defence, transport, development and health sectors.You will: Prepare communications for a range of channels, including community updates and notifications, briefing presentations, webpage copy, and media releases. Coordinate and help facilitate engagement activities, in-person and online, including meetings, workshops, information sessions, webinars, and online forums.Manage engagement databases, site investigation and mapping systems, and SharePoint documents. Prepare engagement plans and engagement outcome reports, including stakeholder analysis, risk analysis, and data analysis. Collaborate with a range of technical specialists and work in multi-disciplinary teams.Contribute to a positive team culture and participate in continual improvement. Develop your consultancy and project management skills, in line with Jacobs Global Career Framework. Here's what you'll need: A tertiary qualification in Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, Business, Social Science, Arts or related field.Relevant experience in communications and/or engagement. An understanding of the International Association of Public Participation (IAP2), with IAP2 certification being desirable. Experience working on planning, development and/or infrastructure projects, within Government or in a Consultancy environment.Strong organisational, problem solving, and critical thinking skills. A‘can do’ attitude with an interest in continuous learning and improvement. An ability to work in a fast-paced consultancy environment, and juggle multiple priorities. Jacobs. A world where you can.
