Job Description How you’ll be making an impact in people’s lives: We are looking for a Rehabilitation Consultant to join our Darwin, Australia team on a full-time or part-time basis! If you are passionate about delivering excellent customer care and making a difference in people’s lives, this is the place for you.Help your clients regain their independence and achieve their goals in life and work!As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a vital role in the provision of workplace rehabilitation services. You’ll support people to get well and working. Undertaking Occupational Therapy assessments including activities of daily living, home, worksite, functional, ergonomic, and equipment assessments.Undertaking assessments to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans. Designing and implementing intervention programmes using occupation to improve functional performance, independence, and work capacity. Identifying barriers and designing, implementing, and monitoring programs that support people to achieve maximal work participation.Understanding a variety of healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes and empowering your clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals. Liaising with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers, and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes. Qualifications What you’ll bring to the role:Australian recognised degree qualification and full Accreditation in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Chiropractic, or Physiotherapy. Willingness to learn and impact positively on people’s lives in tangible ways. The ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey.A commitment to a high level of customer service to your clients and customers. Willingness to work in the community (must have driver's licence and access to own vehicle). Current or able to get a Working with Children Check and Police Clearance.
