Mobile Sales and Service Technician– Pirtek Taupo Location: Taupo Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Pirtek Taupo is seeking a motivated Mobile Sales and Service Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on role, providing on-site hydraulic and mechanical service to a wide range of industries. You’ll be responsible for attending service calls, diagnosing and repairing hydraulic issues, and building relationships with our valued customers.Key Responsibilities:• Attend on-site service calls to repair and replace hydraulic and mechanical components • Provide 24/7 hydraulic breakdown servicing, as part of a rotating on-call roster working 1 full week a month. • Assemble and fit new and serviced hydraulic components such as hoses, pumps, motors, andrams• Perform new installation work on a variety of machinery • Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with clients, identify new target customers, pursue sales opportunities and regular sales visits • Ensure all work complies with Health&Safety and Safe Work Practices Qualifications&Requirements:• Previous experience in hydraulics or a mechanical/light engineering background is preferred • Ability to operate machinery, tools, and measuring devices accurately • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under time restrictions • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team• Good numeracy, verbal, and written communication skills in English • Full, clean NZ Driver’s License and medically/physically fit • Flexibility to work overtime and participate in the after-hours on-call roster • Competitive remuneration package based on skills and experience • Vehicle and phone provided for work use• Full product and job training provided • Opportunities to grow within a global company with a supportive, small-team culture How to Apply: If you are a skilled and motivated Mobile Service Technician looking for a new challenge, we’d love to hear from you.
