No two days are the same.We have an opportunity for an Executive Manager to work with our Executive General Manager (EGM) - Customer, Products and Services (CP&S) and the wider Leadership Team (LT). Mō te Tūranga | About the role We spoke with our Executive, CP&S (who you’d report to), and he let us know the following about the tūranga (role): What are some of the day to day tasks the person in this tūranga will complete? Supporting the EGM and their LT in development, communication and ongoing monitoring of implementation of the Business strategy. Establish&maintain an LT operating rhythm. Coordinate, lead&run key business programmes as necessary, focusing on the delivery of agreed milestones&timeframes. Preparation and review of executive presentations/reports/documents including Group, CEO, Board and ET papers as required. Coordinate and compile meeting agendas, business cases, briefing packs and general business papers. Liaise with corporate affairs in relation to media announcements and responses.What is the most exciting thing about this opportunity? You will have the opportunity to engage with senior executives and business partners across CP&S, BNZ and NAB, and will be part of the team working on transformative business initiatives that are geared towards great customer&colleague outcomes. We're looking for someone action-oriented who will make things happen and is able to think outside the box and identify new ways of doing things. Your engaging personality and positive attitude coupled with your ability to remain calm, self-motivated and anticipate needs will ensure your success in this tūranga.What specific skills and experience would be beneficial for this tūranga? You will have significant experience working at senior levels within a corporate banking environment and a high degree of business acumen that will enable credibility when working with the business. You will also bring: Exceptional organisational skills required with the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, while remaining focused under pressure.Proven ability to think strategically and manage competing stakeholder requirements when making decisions. Strong influencing and negotiating abilities to leverage relationships and networks to secure desired outcomes. 5 + years programme management experience ideally within a large corporate or government enterprise.What will success look like for the candidate in this tūranga? Reporting directly to the EGM, you'll be responsible for actively engaging with key stakeholders to provide support across a broad range of issues within changing and demanding environments.
