Auckland Council Experience Centres are seeking an experienced educator to deliver curriculum-based, hands-on learning experiences at Long Bay Regional Park The opportunity Provide experiential learning sessions for students, teachers and adults that empowers action for te taiao at school or homeKey criteria Planning, delivery and facilitation of education sessions for schools at all year levels, Available to work any day of the week during term time. As and when bookings come in Comply with health and safety policies, procedures and practices Attend training, professional development and meetingsAssist with training new educators Qualifications and experience Environmental / sustainability background Teaching qualifications preferred, but not essential Experience working with tamariki and rangatahi, preferably in the outdoors Excellent communication and group facilitation skills Strong Health&Safety practice Ability to contribute to coordination, maintenance and administration of programmes.
