Tax Pooling Associate, Auckland

Our Tamaki Makaurau / Auckland office is seeking an Associate to join the Tax Pooling Solutions (TPS)team. You will be an integral part of our team responsible for delivering against a number of day-to-day operational and financial requirements of the business. You will also have an active role in managing client relationships, responding to their queries and providing them with recommendations. Over time, you can expect to learn how to run this business from the ground up, and by building long-standing relationships along the way, there is significant growth potential in this role.Within this team, your responsibilities could include: Preparing tax pooling quotes for a wide range of tax agents, finance professionals, and business owners Monitoring inbox, inbound calls, and responding to client requests Completing reconciliations and reports for internal and external stakeholdersPreparing funding requests Supporting the TPS team with various financial and operational tasks Monitoring and completing tasks to comply with risk management obligations Assisting with business development, system development, and other tasks as required Skills and experience required: High attention to detailGood understanding of mathematics, including reconciling numbers and interest rates, with support for basic financial modeling over time A degree in Commerce, Accounting, or similar (desirable) Natural ability to build rapport and strong relationships with staff and clients Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasksMinimum of 2 years' experience in an office environment Highlights of working at PwC NZ: Unrivalled access to industry expertise, locally and globally, supported by cutting-edge technology Annual wellness-related cash contributions Life and income protection as part of our total remuneration packagePaid parental leave for all genders Options to purchase additional leave and recognition days Digital upskilling through our Digital Academy What are you waiting for?
