Flexibility to work across the country on various projects is preferred.The Aluminium Fabricator will be responsible for: Studying, understanding, and checking job sheet drawings and specifications to determine requirements. Completing work as per drawings and schedule set by the Factory Manager. Following company procedures and training for: Prepping Aluminium stock for fabricationCutting Aluminium using hand tools and machines Assembling parts, aligning, and joining using various techniques Fixing hardware, cutting and fitting liners, glazing Finishing products (cleaning, filing, polishing) Managing stores, raw materials, and waste Onsite installation of aluminium structures and cladding.Maintaining equipment and tools. Ensuring a tidy and safe work environment. Reporting safety issues and maintenance needs. Assisting with moving frames, loading/unloading deliveries, and stock takes. Maintaining cleanliness and carrying out general maintenance tasks. Performing other duties related to aluminium fabrication as required.Skills and experience: Preferably 1+ years in metal fabricating or relevant field; candidates with minimal experience and willingness to learn are welcome. Friendly demeanor, good time management, strong work ethic. Commitment to learning and industry development. Knowledge of health and safety procedures.Reliable and hardworking. Pay: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour Hours: Minimum 30 hours guaranteed per week Locations: Multiple locations across New Zealand including Auckland, Northland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, and others.
