SAP Project Manager - New Zealand, Auckland

We won the annual SAP awards this year in four categories.We are looking for a skilled SAP Project Manager to join our Project Services team. This opportunity is based in New Zealand, supporting a local customer with some site presence required for key project deliverables or workshops. We aim to balance flexibility with effective project execution. Project Management is a key function for the business to execute and deliver SAP solution projects across a diverse range of industries. You will contribute to our practice business strategy and direction, ensuring objectives and business goals are met. You bring a wealth of experience in successfully delivering IT projects in an SME environment.Tasks and Responsibilities Manage the execution of single and multi-disciplinary SAP projects, including project planning, tracking, and oversight to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget Prepare and monitor installation schedules and timelines, resulting in on-time and on-budget delivery to our customersManage, interact with, and if necessary, direct all relevant project consultants to ensure customer expectations and agreed deliverables are met Manage the processes associated with effective document control systems including, but not limited to, project handover, administration, documentation, customer support, and project closureFacilitate regular internal project progress reporting Liaise and negotiate with all relevant customer BPOs regarding contractual requirements Communicate clearly and professionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Develop and improve project delivery processes and procedures in line with our project methodologiesSkills and Experience Proven experience in project management, ideally with a minimum of five years delivering medium-scale, complex IT projects SAP project experience is required Demonstrated ability to manage large projects, including planning, tracking, and oversight Familiarity with productivity and methodology tools that improve project efficiencyExperience with architecture, development, integration, and deployment phases of IT projects Strong communication, time-management, analytical, and problem-solving skills Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to train, motivate, and guide project teams DyFlex is committed to providing a safe, flexible and respectful environment for staff, free from discrimination, bullying and harassment.
