This will be a leadership role and will work closely with the GM Finance to develop a programme of work to take the finance function from "good to great". The outcomes of the programme will include improved processes, systems and capability within the finance function.Key responsibilities include: Leading the delivery of specific improvement projects within the overall transformation plan. Chairing finance improvement steering group to provide oversight of the programme, including prioritisation of individual initiatives and tracking progress against milestones and benefit realisation.Research and bring to the table for consideration the latest thinking around finance transformation globally. Establish a technology roadmap for finance in conjunction with the Technology team including utilisation of latest tools and technologies e.g. PowerBI dashboard reporting and Robotic Process Automation.Collaborate and coordinate within AT's finance team to ensure the whole team feel like they are part of every step of the continuous improvement journey. Please note: This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity. Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring? A tertiary degree qualification in Finance and/or Business Management, accounting or a related discipline or equivalent.Professional certifications in Project Management Financial or business management background with 10+ years' experience across a variety of different types of organisations. Minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a Project and/or Programme Manager. Experience delivering on transformation or change projects in complex organisations, with a proven ability to deliver outcomes.Experience interfacing with IT teams on technology projects. Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally in virtual teams to deliver desired outcomes. You will need to demonstrate that you have successfully initiated, led and implemented a similar programme previously.
