This is a unique role offering the opportunity to teach an outstanding outdoor education programme that is well established and highly regarded. The role involves leading outdoor courses, including camps away from school and outside Auckland.You will collaborate with a dedicated team to develop your professional practice through a professional development programme. The role requires a commitment to the school’s co-curricular activities and attendance at Camp Week annually. Qualifications and Skills A passion for the outdoors and leadership skills in outdoor educationKnowledge of NCEA Level 2 and 3 Physical Education Achievement Standards Qualifications and experience in rock climbing, mountain biking, bushcraft, sea, and whitewater kayaking Understanding of health and safety legislation and outdoor education regulations Current full driver’s licence and first aid certificateLeadership responsibilities and allowances may be available for suitably qualified and experienced candidates.
