About The Role We are seeking a dedicated health professional to lead and oversee the provision of high-quality, community-based support services. This role is essential in ensuring that adults experiencing serious and persistent mental ill health or complex support needs receive the care they require.As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for service management, workforce development, health and safety compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain excellence in service delivery. Workforce Development: Recruit, develop, and retain a highly skilled, motivated, and effective team of mental health professionals and support workers Health&Safety Compliance: Ensure all services and work environments align with health and safety regulations. Strategic Leadership: Contribute to organisational initiatives, participating in forums such as Key Event Review, Medication Review, and Smoking Cessation programmes. Quality&Performance Monitoring: Implement audit and corrective action plans, ensuring continuous service improvement. Reporting&Evaluation: Provide monthly reports on service performance, workforce engagement, and quality improvement efforts. Skills And Experience A Registered Health Professional with a current APC Extensive experience leading teams within mental health support services is essential Proven leadership and team development skills, with a balance of team support and deliverable outcomesIn-depth understanding of mental health, complex support needs, and community-based care models. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills. A strategic mindset with the ability to drive continuous improvement in service delivery. Hold a full New Zealand drivers licence and working rights to New Zealand.
