Trainees can expect to develop a greater understanding of clinical Nephrology, basic science and physiology, clinical research and procedural skills. All three districts offer structured teaching opportunities and are affiliated with the University of Auckland School of Medicine. For those completing the exam later this year, if you do not pass the clinical exam then you will no longer be eligible for an advanced training position and may be considered for a run allocation.You will need to be eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. Support and assistance with this process is provided. Six-month allocations for those interested in Renal Medicine experience as part of General Medicine or other Specialty training: Must be at least a RACP Basic Trainee Registrar.Eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
