Site/Project Engineer, Auckland

With ongoing growth, we are actively recruiting for a Site/Project Engineer to be part of our team, who will play an important role ensuring our teams are delivering high quality civil construction projects across the wider Auckland region. Duties and Responsibilities Onsite monitoring of civil construction activities and day to day management of civil crewEnsure Quality, health&safety aspects are completed Review project specifications Prepare ITP (Inspection and Testing Plans) Ensure project specifications are satisfied Undertake field tests such as CBR, Clegg Hammer and compile results for submission Prepare as-builts for completed works Providing management, coordination, and supervision of assigned projects works, undertaken by our labour or subcontractor resourcesMonitor Productivity targets on-site Prepare daily job pack for field crews Review Site records done by field supervisors Undertake daily review of completed works against the original programme Attributes&Skills Required. Good people and leadership qualities Reliable&Agile Ability to develop, motivate and lead staff Superior interpersonal skills Not afraid to get their hands dirty Hold a Bachelor of Engineering qualification in Civil Engineering 2-3 years’ experience in onsite Quality control role within the civil engineering field Ability to take initiative and work independentlyWhat We Offer An opportunity to join a civil contractor that genuinely cares for its people Small and family-oriented team.
