Regional Sales Representative -Connect Surveillance&Security, Auckland

We are looking for a Northern Regional Sales Representative to join the Connect Surveillance&Security team at Dicker Data. This Auckland-based position focuses on selling and marketing Connect Surveillance&Security products and solutions across Dicker Data's channel partner base to create demand and drive sales. Key Responsibilities Provide sales support and customer service to Partners to ensure a good customer experience. This includes providing technical guidance, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with technical teams to resolve problems.Develop and maintain relationships with Dicker Data partners, becoming a trusted advisor. Identify opportunities and take actions to position Dicker Data to win business. Proactively identify and address potential issues or roadblocks affecting client satisfaction or success, including risk mitigation and problem-solving.Prepare quarterly and monthly forecasts and budgeting updates. Acquire and maintain relevant Sales and Technical Certifications as directed, and participate in channel social and training events. Core Competencies Sought Proven track record in developing new business and maintaining existing business, or more than 5 years of experience in technical roles within the electronic security industry.Good understanding of products used in the electronic security industry. Ability to work under pressure and prioritize workload effectively to meet expectations. Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising with all levels of customers and suppliers and building respectful relationships.Strong numeracy skills and understanding of back-end administration procedures. High initiative and enthusiasm, with accuracy and attention to detail. Innovative, goal-driven, and determined, with a clear vision of company and financial objectives.
