Our growing business requires organised and trustworthy individuals who pride themselves on quality workmanship. You must be motivated and result driven. Flexibility on work locations is preferred, as you might be asked to work across the country to assist our projects.The Construction Technician is responsible for: Performing tasks within your skills and capabilities necessary for the company's business. Ensuring compliance with all aspects of contracts, projects, or tasks, and delivering customer service that meets or exceeds expectations. Erecting scaffolding or ladders for assembling structures above ground level.Creating structures, forms, or chutes and pouring concrete. Covering subfloors with building paper to prevent moisture and laying hardwood, parquet, or wood-strip floors. Filling cracks or defects in plaster or plasterboard, and sanding patches. Positioning and securing steel bars, rods, cables, or mesh in concrete forms.Cleaning construction sites as required. Loading, unloading, and transporting materials, tools, and equipment around sites. Performing other duties as assigned. Pay conditions: Min $25.00 per hour to a maximum of $32 per hour Hours of work: Minimum 30 hours guaranteed Skills and experience required:Some construction experience is preferable but not essential. Friendly, with good time management and a strong work ethic. Committed to learning and developing skills within the industry. Knowledge of H&S procedures. Reliable and hardworking. Work locations may include various sites across New Zealand, including Auckland, Northland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawke's Bay, Taranaki, Gisborne, Whanganui-Manawatu, Wellington, Marlborough, Nelson-Tasman, Canterbury, West Coast, Otago, and Southland.
