This role offers opportunities for growth and development within the company. Reporting to the Yard Supervisor, you will operate machinery safely to efficiently process scrap metal. Full training will be provided.Your Responsibilities Operate heavy machinery (Material Handler, Excavator, Shear, Front End Loader) Apply good problem-solving skills and attention to detail Plan and prioritize tasks effectively Maintain a strong focus on safety Qualifications for Success Attention to detail, especially in identifying, separating, and processing metalsA proactive attitude and willingness to undertake training to diversify skills Excellent attendance, reliability, and ability to work independently or in a team Minimum 2 years of experience as a machine operator or similar role Desirable Skills Forklift and WTR endorsements Experience in metal recycling or related industriesExperience operating other heavy machinery (dump trucks, forklifts over 20T, front-end loaders) What We Offer Competitive salary and overtime opportunities On-the-job training, certification, and career progression Interested?
