This is a 6-month fixed-term, full-time role, working on the Hot End of the manufacturing plant on a rolling shift pattern—4 days on and 4 days off—with opportunities for overtime.Reporting to the Shift Manager, your role is to support the Forming Service Department to ensure the company continues to produce and pack high-quality glassware safely and efficiently. Your main responsibilities will include: Operating all I.S. Forming Machines at the hot end of the manufacturing plant.Monitoring, inspecting, and adjusting equipment as required. Assisting the Job Change Team with changing molds and setting up I.S. Machines for upcoming orders. Ensuring the quality of the glass packaging meets Visy Glass specifications. Maintaining adherence to all Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times.What you will bring to the team: You should have prior experience operating machinery within an industrial or manufacturing environment, preferably in conditions similar to the Hot End (e.g., Steel industry). You must be mechanically inclined, able to work in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment, and a team player with a strong work ethic.
