Intermediate Project Manager - Consultancy, Auckland

The role will see you being supported by a senior project manager and, with appropriate mentoring, you will typically need to: Establish the project by appointing consultants, producing feasibility studies, monitoring statutory processes, and advising on procurement options.Manage the construction phase, overseeing QA/risk, financial reporting, budget management/cost control, programming, defects list, remedial works, and various project reports. Manage stakeholders and conduct or chair meetings. As a project manager, you should come from a project management consultancy with 3-5 years of NZ-based experience involving projects across industries such as aged care, high-rise residential, health, education, utilities, and rail. A tertiary qualification in Architecture, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, or Building Science is essential. Leadership qualities, a tenacious attitude, and passion for your work are important.
