Join the New Lynn Hub team as a Libraries&Council Services Assistant to bring energy, creativity, and innovation to the wider Whau Local Board community. This is a permanent 22-hour per week position that includes a regular weekend day (Monday, Friday, and Saturday) and is currently based at New Lynn Library. Flexibility to work across Whau Local Board libraries is required.Our library whānau is focused on caring for each other, our community, and our environment. New Lynn Library promotes and educates about climate action, and we aim to expand our efforts in green literacy for the local community. We love collaborating with community partners and welcome applicants from all walksof life.We seek someone willing to contribute wherever needed with a positive attitude. You will play an active role in daily operations, ensuring patrons have an excellent library experience. Your responsibilities include supporting daily functions and developing and delivering programmes driven by community needs.
