As a Quality Advisor at New Zealand Health Group, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring top-notch, safe services for our clients and staff. Yourmission? To champion quality across our Geneva brands!This is a full-time role working Monday– Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm based in our Auckland CBD Office. A sample of responsibilities below: Provide expert advice and support to operational teams in managing high-risk incidents. Lead investigations into adverse events and produce clear, comprehensive reports, including root cause analysis.Analyse data and trends to identify systemic issues and opportunities for improvement. Contribute to and lead quality improvement projects that enhance outcomes for the people we support. Maintain and support policy development, including ideation, updates and reviews. Work closely with senior leaders to support organisational quality and risk strategies.Support audit and compliance processes across subsidiaries. Draft responses, and undertake corresponding investigations, for regulatory bodies and funders as required. Share insights and examples of good practice across subsidiaries to support continuous improvement. Monitor relevant legislation, standards, and sector developments to ensure ongoing compliance and best practice.Proven experience in healthcare, quality, risk and/or improvement Excellent written and communication skills Sound judgement, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach Proven experience and the ability to manage complex workloads and competing priorities effectively Capability (or a strong foundation with the ability to grow) in data interpretation and reporting, with a focus on delivering actionable insights to support decision-makingThrives in dynamic environments, with a flexible approach to handling a diverse workload Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate challenging conversations and build constructive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders Only suitable candidates will be contacted for an interview, and applications will be reviewed as they are received, therefore the role may close early if the right applicant is found.Applicants for this position must be a NZ Resident/Citizen or have a valid NZ work permit.
