We are seeking an inspirational centre manager to leadour team of highly qualified early childhood educators, foster the culture, ensure the professional running of the centre and continue to deliver excellent early childhood educational outcomes for the children in this established centre.Key responsibilities are: Ensure the efficient running of the centre, implementing management policies and ensure that all statutory requirements are met Promote the philosophy and educational aims of the centre to staff and parents Coordinate long term and daily programmes for the centre, and monitor progressSet the tone for the culture, role modelling good practices and behaviours Develop strong professional relationships withstaff and parents Exercise responsible judgement involving decisions related to children Inspire, lead, organise and oversee professionaldevelopment of the team. Candidates will have:Current teacher registration/certification with relevant early childhood qualification Leadership experience with an ability to develop and motivatea team to deliver best practice childcare services Familiarity with the New Zealand Education Council, ERO, MOE requirements, Licensing Criteria, 2008 Regulations and Code of EthicsCollaborative approach to working with stakeholders and other centre managers in our network Experience ensuring the professional running of a centre and the delivery of a high-quality early childhood curriculum.
