As we evolve in a rapidly changing environment, the role of our Corporate Affairs team is more important than ever.This is a challenging and interesting hybrid role suited for a communications professional and/or social media creative with in-house or agency experience, looking to add variety to their role. You will play a key role in delivering ASB's external communications strategy through proactive and reactive media, social media management, engagement, and bridging the gap between the two.You will help manage ASB's corporate reputation by identifying compelling stories across the business and bringing them to life on social channels and news media. This includes media pitching, creating platform-specific content, and managing ASB's social channels (LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook).You will be part of a team that serves as the first point of contact for media, working with the business to source and provide information, often under tight deadlines. You will also bring creativity to the role, finding ways to connect ASB's stories with diverse audiences. Our team are trusted advisors to the business, so confidence working with stakeholders at all levels, along with your reputation, communications knowledge, and creative expertise, are essential.The external communications team is small but impactful, offering opportunities to amplify ASB's sponsorships, launch new products, support senior leaders, and manage external presence during crises—giving you scope to make this role your own.
