Job Description: Implementation Lead at Auckland Council Auckland Council is excited to announce a new opportunity within our Customer Experience&Digital Services function for an Implementation Lead (internally referred to as Project Lead). This role offers a unique chance to lead the design and implementation of an innovative, customer-centric operating model that will transform service delivery across the Auckland Council Group. Group Shared Services is a newly established department aimed at integrating common functions and technologies across the Auckland Council Group to eliminate duplication and ensure consistent, scalable, resilient, secure, and high-quality shared services. As Project Lead, you will oversee your functional area's project, helping your GM implement a leading practice group customer experience function that provides equitable service to Auckland Council Group entities. Manage a cross-functional project team, providing leadership and support to meet project objectives. Candidate Profile We seek a candidate with proven experience in leading customer experience or digital transformation projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong strategic thinking skills, the ability to manage complex projects, drive innovation, and inspire cross-functional teams. Expertise in human-centered design, stakeholder engagement, and benefits realization are essential, along with a track record of delivering measurable outcomes.Preferred experience includes leading complex transformation projects, applying inclusive design principles, familiarity with methodologies like Prince2 or PMP, and relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.
