At Northcross Intermediate, we’re seeking a dedicated ELIP teacher to help students develop the language skills they need tothrive both academically and socially.About the role: You will work closely with students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds, delivering targeted English language instruction that builds confidence and accelerates learning. Your role is crucial in helping students transition into mainstream classes and achieve success across the curriculum.Key responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging English language lessons tailored to learners’ individual needs. Monitor and assess student progress using clear, measurable outcomes. Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to create inclusive learning experiences. Provide pastoral and academic support to English language learners.We’re looking for someone who: Holds relevant teaching qualifications. Has experience teaching English as an additional language ESOL. Demonstrates cultural sensitivity and a student-centred approach.
