We’re looking for a Machine Operator to join our sub-assembly line, where you’ll help shape sheet steel or aluminum into parts for air conditioners. This position is for the afternoon shift (3:15pm - 11:15pm). Your Role: You'll report to the Sub-Assembly Line Foreman and your busy, hands-on tasks will include:Setting up and monitoring machines according to guidelines Making adjustments and recovering from breakdowns Performing regular TPM as required Selecting jobs and identifying drawings, cross-checking with programs Forming work queues and loading raw materials using a forklift Transporting finished products to the next operation using a forklift or hoistMeasuring dimensions, angles, and rotations, making adjustments as needed Changing tooling and identifying correct drawings Understanding and complying with safety and environmental policies Reporting and resolving safety issues, and contributing to improved practices We’re excited to have you contribute to our team and help us produce top-notch air conditioners!Qualifications Experience and Skills We’re Looking For: Machinery Operation: Experience with cutting and bending sheet steel or aluminum. Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with computers and able to program machines. Blueprint Proficiency: Skilled at reading and understanding engineering drawings and dimensions.Safety First: Strong knowledge of safe work practices.
