This position is available due to an upcoming retirement, offering a chance to continue our legacy of excellence.If you are motivated by achieving business goals in a company with a strong work culture, this role may be perfect for you! As a Team Manager, you will lead a functional team within the Distribution Centre, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe work environment. Your responsibilities include ensuring team members are well-trained, engaged, service-oriented, and clear on their tasks, time frames, and quality standards.Align work flow in the DC functional area to meet targets, ensuring team capability and proper equipment availability. Understand and implement SRG’s operational excellence strategy and ensure compliance. Be accountable for departmental targets. About You We are seeking a passionate, experienced Team Manager to lead in our fast-paced environment with a focus on safety. You should have:Experience in Retail or 3PL distribution and leading operational teams. Previous inventory management experience. Understanding of labour models and costs. Knowledge of WMS (Korber preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite. Understanding of hazard identification, incident management, and investigation.Knowledge of CoR legislation. Exposure to Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, or Statistical Process Control environments. Operational decision-making skills. Tertiary qualification or Certificate in business, supply chain, or related discipline. Current Forklift license.
