Retail Manager - College Uniform Shop - Part time Permanent, Auckland

Rangitoto College is looking for an experienced and capable retail manager . 25 hours per term time week with flexibility for occasional evening/weekend work and extra days at the start mid-Jan and end of the season mid-Dec . Rangitoto offers the successful applicant a competitivehourly rate, a warm and inclusive working culture, parking, access to ourlibrary and fitness centre. Our shop caters to 4100 students with the bulk ofretail school uniform sales between November and March. Flexibility is requiredwith peak seasonal needs such as Sports, Domestic and International studentintakes at the start and end of the summer break. Further availability isrequired for 3-5 evening/weekend enrolment events per annum.Our successful applicant will have a passion for deliveringexcellence in customer service with demonstrated successful staff and retailmanagement. This is very much a hands-on position with sole charge in quietseasonsand management of temporary part time assistant staff during peaktimes. A critical part of this role is the ability to work calmlyunder pressure , especially during the busy start of the year season when thesuccessful applicant will manage both adult and student staff. Clear andwelcoming communication with customers, suppliers, and staff for the sale ofschool/sports uniforms, related attire, and uniform hire, is a given.Please review the attached job description .
