We are currently seeking a Warehouse Team Member / Store person for our Mt Wellington, Auckland facility.We are looking for team members for the Afternoon shift. Working hours for the afternoon shift: 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM Monday to Friday (+ occasional overtime available) Hourly rate: between $28.00 and $33.00 depending on suitability + Afternoon Shift meal allowance ($20 per shift) Key responsibilities of the role will include:Safety is the #1 Priority– You will ensure safe work and safe product practices are maintained Understanding and following site quality procedures Picking products as per the Pick List and packing the products as per the company procedures for domestic and export customers Loading and unloading raw materials and finished goods into the truck and delivery vansCompleting all Warehouse related paperwork Communicating issues or delays to the supervisor Cleaning and daily housekeeping Completing all relevant Warehouse activities In addition to collaborating within the production and operations team, this position will require heavy interaction with the Quality department to achieve the best outcomes for our customers.Knowledge and experience of Food Safety / GMP practices and Dangerous Goods requirements would be considered advantageous. Computer literacy and a current reach truck license are all desirable skills for this role.
