They are pioneers and visionaries, dedicated to transforming technology strategy into reality through collaboration.Mō te tūranga ~ About the role The focus of our Security team is maintaining safety and ensuring secure operations. As a Security Architect, you'll work closely with Business Divisions (Tribes), Practices, Platforms, and squads, guiding them on risk/reward trade-offs, establishing guardrails, assurance, controls, and directing security policies to ensure safety, soundness, and security.You will bring our security strategy to life by translating high-level policy statements and roadmaps into capabilities, plans, and structures that enable our Engineering Practice to build and deliver based on this framework. Relationships are key; the Security Architect partners with various teams and maintains close ties with our Security/Cyber Practice, fostering shared knowledge and protection for ASB Bank.This role is supported by a dedicated practice, with Tribes eager for your skills and a passion for embracing new technologies. If your background includes infrastructure as a Network Engineer or secure coding as a Software Engineer, and you've developed architectural expertise with a focus on security in an enterprise environment, this could be the perfect fit.You understand that security is part of a larger picture, including business processes, applications, technologies, and ecosystems, enabling informed risk/reward decisions. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will help you build relationships, convey complex information clearly, and align diverse teams around common goals.
