Elgas Limited Driver Filler Wiri, New Zealand | req23296 We’re looking for a hardworking, dependable driver to join our busy team. You’ll need Class 2 driving experience and a clean criminal history. What You Will Enjoy Doing Your working hours will be Monday to Friday, starting around 6:30 am and ending no later than 5:00 pm.Occasional Saturdays are required, with time and a half pay. The role involves delivering and filling LPG gas cylinders to homes and businesses across the region. You will interact face-to-face with customers, answering questions and assisting them as needed. Handling dangerous goods requires attention to detail and a strong commitment to health and safety.What Makes You Great You have a clean Class 2 licence with at least 12 months of driving experience (in Class 2). You can drive manual transmission and have previous experience delivering goods. You are physically fit and able to lift heavy items during deliveries. Having a Dangerous Goods licence and LPG filling experience is preferred, or willingness to undergo training.You are flexible, adaptable, and focused on customer service. You have good knowledge of the region. You are able to operate handheld computer delivery equipment. You demonstrate a proactive approach to health and safety responsibilities. You can pass background checks, including criminal, ACC history, medical, and drug and alcohol screening.You are a team player with a positive attitude and flexibility to meet operational demands.
