You’ll be working alongside collaborative teams based locally and in India. Key responsibilities of the role include: Software development and documentationSoftware product maintenance updating regression an unit test suites Contributing to software design and architecture for selected product streams Collaborating with developers, product management and the architecture team to ensure product designs fit well into the Invenco by GVR product range Test plan developmentFollow Agile development methodology ABOUT YOU You’ll bea self starter who is keen to take the next step in your Software Development career. Excellent collaboration and communication skills are important along with innovative ideas to solve problems and improve usability for our customers. Essential Skills:Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Development or Engineering 3+years of development and or testing experience Proficient in C++ Experience with Version Control Systems- (Git) Technical skills including a high level of understanding of software development, network systems, software testProblem investigation and resolution experience in a software environment Desirable Skills Payments and/or retail petroleum industry experience Embedded Linux X86/ ARM C, Java, Assembler, Python, Bash scripting Ability to promote a test driven development approach Experience using embedded tools; compilers, debuggers, JTAG, protocol analysers, RTOS or OSesWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU If you are customer obsessed and see yourself developing your career within our Engineering team, apply now and help our customers keep the world moving.
