About the roles: The Payments Platform offers a secure environment for superior payment experiences, empowering our customers with trusted payment solutions. Our main domains within Payments Platform include:Cross border - Supporting and modernizing international payment systems/services to meet best practices and customer demands. Cards - Delivering resilient, future-proof card payment capabilities for all customer segments, including business and corporate clients. Domestic - Supporting resilient bulk payments for business and corporate clients, including building and maintaining the Core Payment engine and Real Time Payment Instruction within Azure. The domain comprises micro-services running as Azure Functions.As a Software Engineer, you will leverage your Payment expertise to support and maintain our applications and contribute to testing processes within the squad. You will be part of a team focused on delivering a secure, functional, and high-performance ecosystem. Our agile, cross-functional squads promote collaboration across all engineering facets, supporting activities like:Reviewing requirements and specifications. Developing and supporting test automation. Verifying and validating functionality. Analyzing and reporting test results. Collaborating with stakeholders for end-to-end testing and sign-off. Paying attention to detail to identify issues, such as causality in payment transactions.Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements from RBNZ and international organizations like SWIFT. Redesigning internal solutions using modern cloud technology and aligning with ISO20022 standards. About you: We seek a candidate who champions quality goals and has an eye for detail. You will collaborate with squads and stakeholders, advocating for test engineering to improve customer payment experiences. The ideal candidate has:At least 3 years of test engineering experience. Knowledge of functional, system, API, and end-to-end testing. Experience developing and maintaining test automation. Experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, or K6. Understanding of Agile principles. Knowledge of Azure DevOps.Proficiency in SQL and CosmosDB. Additional advantages include: Experience in the financial or banking domain. Experience with test simulators like FINSIM. ISTQB Fundamentals certification. Experience with cloud technologies.
