SO/ Auckland is located in the heart of Auckland's CBD, offering views of the Waitematā Harbour and city across 16 floors and 130 design-led rooms.We are currently looking for a Permanent Full-Time (40 Hours per Week) Night Auditor/Receptionist who is hands-on and has a keen eye for detail to help us deliver the best Guest Experience! This role works on a 7-day rotating roster including day and night shifts.Job Description This is a great opportunity for someone looking to advance their career and build upon their current skillset. The Role Work overnight from 11pm to 7:30am, including day shifts. Check in and check out guests, maintaining accurate accounts and timely posting of charges. Open communication channels between hotel guests and all departments.Respond positively to all queries, redirecting to appropriate departments as needed. Assist with guest luggage, car doors, and timely delivery of guest vehicles and luggage. Maintain immaculate appearance of the guest services desk, lobby, and forecourt. Assist with reservations and ensure guest requests are addressed and documented.Manage late arrivals and early departures, ensuring procedures are followed and customer focus is maintained. Utilize Opera Cloud PMS for balancing procedures, report generation, and statistical data as required. Compile Night Audit reports and documents in accordance with PCI Compliance, distributing them promptly.Perform system backups following finance policies. Assist night services including room service, OTS, parking, and porter services to ensure efficient guest arrivals and departures. Qualifications About You Experience in a luxury or lifestyle hotel environment is highly advantageous. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Full driver’s license required for managing guest vehicle parking between 11:00pm and 7:00am. Knowledge of the local area is beneficial. Familiarity with OPERA Cloud is advantageous. Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays. Previous hospitality experience, especially in night shifts.Reservations experience is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to remain calm under pressure. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in hotel management software and front office systems. Additional Information SO/ Benefits Staff meals during shifts.
