About the role: Join Ceres' friendly Quality team as the Quality&Compliance Manager, playing a key role in managing the Technical/Quality department—development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of policies, systems, and procedures to support the success of Ceres, its products, and brands. You will lead a team of 3, providing leadership, support, and training, and assist other departments as needed to ensure high standards of quality and ethics. This is an exciting opportunity as Ceres continues to grow in both the NZ and AU markets.Responsibilities include: Ensure full compliance with standards, accreditation requirements, and legal regulations (Acts, Laws, and Regulations—National and International). Manage day-to-day quality management at on-site food production facilities, ensuring the distribution center (DC) maintains high quality levels and implementing corrective actions when necessary.Foster a culture promoting food safety, quality, innovation ('right first time'), and continuous improvement. Ensure all products (raw and finished) are safe, meet quality specifications, are traceable, and are assessed as suitable from sourcing through storage to final product. Skills and experience: 5+ years in a similar role.Strong knowledge of regulatory, food safety, and quality standards. Experience developing, implementing, maintaining, and improving food safety and quality standards/regulations. Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as food/dairy science or technology. HACCP certification is preferred.Why is Ceres a great place to work?
