People are at the heart of everything we do.We are seeking a detail-oriented, accurate, and reliable team player to join our finance team as an Accounts Assistant. This role involves comprehensive support for the Finance and wider business, focusing on data entry, processing Accounts Payable, and ensuring robust control and compliance activities. You will be responsible for key financial functions, including payment processing, full-cycle payroll, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations.Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, you will need to demonstrate a high level of accuracy, the ability to build strong relationships with team members, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with a focus on continuous improvement. Your main responsibilities include: End to end Accounts Payable processingFull-cycle payroll administration and processing Supplier statement reconciliation Providing month end support to the accounting team Bank&Balance Sheet reconciliations Manage the Accounts Receivable processes Assisting the wider accounts team where needed Our ideal candidate will require: Significant AP experience Previous experience with payroll processing and systems Sound knowledge of the Holidays Act and New Zealand payroll requirementsComprehensive understanding of GST&withholding tax A high level of accuracy, speed and attention to detail Proficient to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel Excellent verbal and written communication skill Demonstrated continuous improvement in previous roles Excellent communication and ability to work cross functionallyApply now if you want to join us on our mission to provide smart, accessible&timely GP care across the motu! #J-18808-Ljbffr
