Job Opportunity: Junior School Teacher Kristin School is seeking a passionate and motivated teacher to join our supportive Junior School (Year 0-6) team on a fixed-term part-time basis, job sharing 2 days per week, for the remainder of 2025. This role is ideal for a NZ Registered teacher committed to tailoring educational experiences to foster each child's success and providing exceptional pastoral care.The successful candidate will be responsible for the homeroom program, which integrates Mathematics, English, Science, Social Studies, and Personal and Social Development through an inquiry approach, supported by the latest research on the Science of Learning and Structured Literacy. Specialist teachers support Mandarin, te reo Māori, PE, Music, and Visual and Performing Arts, offering non-contact time for planning, preparation, and collaboration.Requirements: NZ Registered teacher with excellent interpersonal skills Ability to build strong relationships with students and parents Supportive of co-curricular programmes Collaborative team player Enthusiastic about technology (recognised Apple Distinguished School) Good sense of humourExperience with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) is not required; professional development will be provided, including training outside school hours.
