With a proven track record of delivering high-quality results, we are dedicated to meeting the diverse needs of our clients across the country.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Auckland for an Asphalt Paver/Miller Operator. The Asphalt Paver/Miller Operator will be responsible for operating asphalt paving and milling equipment, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting machinery issues, and conducting routine maintenance and repairs. The role also includes the use of power tools and hand tools to ensure the smooth operation of equipment and the completion of projects to the highest standards.$75-90k Salary Package Mon-Fri work with Opportunity for Weekends Duties Mix, spread, and level asphalt on roads, driveways, and other surfaces. Operate and maintain asphalt equipment (pavers, rollers, miller etc.). Roll and handle asphalt when needed Ensure quality control and safe work practices on job sites.Assist in the preparation and setup of work areas. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines. Skills&Experience Previous asphalt work is required, with the ability to know how to roll asphalt and asphalt hand works Valid NZ driver's license - Minimum Class 1 Full WTR or Class 2 Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions all around Auckland Ability to pass pre-employment drug test QualificationsSkills in Preventive Maintenance, troubleshooting machinery issues, and performing regular Maintenance&Repair Experience in operating Asphalt Paver/ Miller/ Roller/ Bobcat Ability to work effectively on-site Strong attention to detail and dedication to safety practices Relevant certifications and licenses are beneficial Previous experience in asphalt paving/milling or a similar field is a plusIf this sounds like the opportunity for you, click Apply Now to submit your application!
