About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for a New Graduate or experienced MIT to join our Imaging department at Wairarapa Hospital. We offer a comprehensive diagnostic radiology service including General Radiography and CT Scanning.We will consider both full-time and part-time hours; please indicate your preference in your cover letter. Flexibility to work a Mon-Sun rotating roster with on-call duties is required. Your responsibilities will include working across all general areas of the department, including general Radiology, CT, and Fluoroscopy, as well as performing examinations in special care areas such as HDU, Theatre, Emergency, and general wards.There is also a requirement to be available for the after-hours on-call roster (once orientated, including CT training). Actual days and hours of work will be discussed further at the interview. Experience in CT is preferable; however, applications from individuals willing to train in CT are also encouraged. Sound knowledge of diagnostic radiography, with well-developed communication skills and empathy, and a passion for delivering high-quality healthcare.The ability to work independently, collaboratively, and under pressure.
