Our Junior School is an IB World School delivering the Primary Years Programme (PYP).This exciting dual-role position combines classroom music teaching with leadership of our vibrant primary performing arts programme. You will: Deliver engaging, developmentally-appropriate music education to students in Years 0–6 Coordinate performing arts events, productions, and music opportunitiesEmbed the PYP philosophy into your teaching practice, fostering inquiry, creativity, and collaboration Work closely with the leadership and specialist teams to enhance the performing arts curriculum Support individual student growth in music and the arts, including choirs, instrumental groups, and co-curricular activitiesYou are a passionate educator with: A recognised teaching qualification and New Zealand teacher registration Expertise in primary school music education Ability to lead choirs and/or experience coordinating these Outstanding organisational skills and the ability to lead and inspire othersA collaborative, future-focused mindset and a commitment to holistic education Why join Diocesan?
