Retail Manager, Auckland

An organic store nestled in the heart of the West, we've been serving locals since 2015 and act as a real community hub. Our customers drop in as much for a catch-up as they do to grab their goods, and a sense of community and relating is part of our being. We know many of our customers by name, and forge genuine relationships that keep people coming back - You won't get this service in a mainstream store......and now we're looking for a versatile store manager If you're a practical person, with a good attitude, enthusiasm&retail management experience then this could be the role for you. This is a varied role with opportunity to make your mark This is initially a contract role of approximately 3 months, however ideally it will lead to a permanent role Main duties include: - Daily running of the store Team managementAmending rosters Stock management Maintaining Standards&procedures Things that would be an advantage: - * Experience in a similar store * Ability to prioritise and coordinate tasks * Interest&belief in eco and sustainable living * Understanding of different diets such as Vegan, Coeliac&Keto etc * Coffee making (Barista) Please note won't review any application without an accompanying cover letter - We'd really like to know who you are and why you'd like to work with us!
