Contractor Role - Fixed Term: immediate start until 1st November 2025. 16 hours a week (0.4)This role is the focal point for Match Official education and development in football and futsal for registered NRF Referees. The key responsibility is to foster a culture where Match Officials are integrated into the overall development and delivery of Football and Futsal at the Community Levels (Level 1 to Level 3).This position is integral to implementing the Referee Development Plan and enhancing the quality, consistency, and support for referees across all levels. About this role The successful contractor will be involved in: Developing a program to support referees in their first three years Establishing systems to mentor and support referees facing challenges during matchesOrganizing and delivering referee courses, seminars, fitness tests, education sessions, and practical development opportunities Publishing and managing an annual calendar of referee development activities Creating a Talent Development Program to identify and support progression from community football to NRFL and NZF academiesCollaborating with Community Advisory Panel and RDM on selections for panels, national competitions, NZF RDAs, and other tournaments Working with the Referee Appointments Officer and Community AP on referee appointments Supporting the REO– Girls, Women, and Youth when necessary Managing, updating, and administering the national registration system, competition management system, and NZF learning management system as requiredHow to apply Please apply using the Apply Now button below, including your cover letter and CV addressed to Mark Hester.
