In this position, you will manage and oversee the entire lifecycle of contracts, from negotiation to execution and renewal, ensuring strict adherence to company policies. Your expertise will be key in leading contract negotiations for both existing client renewals and new business opportunities.A role you will love As a Contracts Manager, reporting to the New Zealand Managing Director, you will play a vital role in implementing best practices and processes in contract management. This role demands collaboration with internal stakeholders, including Relationship Managers, Legal, Risk and Compliance, Finance, Operations, and Technology (including Information Security). Key Responsibilities Drive efficiencies and enhance outcomes to ensure contracts are financially viable, maximize profitability, and reduce costs to serve. Foster strong partnerships with senior management and business development teams to align contract terms with Computershare’s strategic operational and financial goals.Collaborate with business teams and Finance to deliver comprehensive client contract reporting, supporting budgeting and reforecasting activities. Develop and maintain trusted relationships with internal teams and external partners throughout the contract lifecycle. Review RFP/RFI documents and associated contracts from clients and prospects.Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and best practices to improve contract management practices. Qualifications and Skills Experience in Contract Management, including negotiation and renewal of external client contracts. Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and present effectively.Proficiency in category management and advanced skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Broad understanding of the financial services industry. Support for small to medium continuous improvement projects.
