About the Role Our Adult Emergency Department at Auckland City Hospital is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join their team. You will be an experienced clinician in adult emergency nursing, providing clinical care for emergency patients while also working in a leadership capacity alongside medical and nursing staff.If you are interested in practicing to the full extent of your emergency scope within a supportive team, this opportunity is ideal. The Adult Emergency Department (AED) and Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) at Te Toka Tumai is a level 1 regional trauma centre, caring for over 85,000 adult patients annually, with a focus on growth, upskilling, and research.We are committed to delivering high standards of clinical practice and patient care, with an emphasis on staff wellbeing. About You You should be committed to the philosophy of emergency care. Essential requirements include: At least 5 years’ experience as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner in the emergency department.Endorsement by the Nursing Council of NZ to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Adult Emergency Nursing.
