Responsibilities Technical Lead for threat detection andresponse onboarding projectsDesign, build, support, and optimise SIEM and EDR platforms used in threat detection and response services Monitor and respond to security alarms/alerts/incidents in SIEM and EDR platforms Escalate security alarms/alerts/incidents to clients as defined per engagement Monitor and manage tickets in accordance with processes defined in the security operations manual and SLA’sSupport junior team members in delivering SOC services to clients Participate in client-facing meetings Deliver services to contract terms and SLA’s Follow ITIL practices regarding service request, incident, problem, and change management Contribute to security operations continuous improvement programCommunicate effectively with customers, teammates, and management What we look for We’re interested in your strengths, what you want to learn, and how far you want to go. Proven experience within information security, specifically in security operations and vulnerability discovery or incident response roles.Strong working knowledge of at least three security tools such as SIEM, EDR, antivirus, firewalls, IDS/IPS, etc. Experience with security tools, specifically Microsoft Sentinel, is essential. Experience with Splunk, Crowdstrike Falcon, MS Defender, Tenable, Qualys, and ServiceNow is beneficial. Knowledge of general security concepts and methods.Additional skills (preferred but not required) Experience with Windows, Linux, UNIX, or other OS Ability to integrate sound technical and security practices in problem solving In-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge Certifications in Network Security (CISSP, Security+, SANS, ISACA), Project Management, and Quality Management (ITIL, Six Sigma, TQM) are a plus.Join EY At EY, we’ll fuel you and your talents in a diverse and inclusive culture of globally connected teams.
