Health Care Assistant, Haemodialysis, North Shore Hospital We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate Health Care Assistant (HCA) to join our Haemodialysis team within the Renal Service at Te Whatu Ora – Waitematā. This is a permanent, full-time position working 8-hour rostered shifts from Monday to Saturday – with no night shifts or Sunday work.What you’ll do: In this hands-on role, you'll play a vital part in supporting our dialysis service by: Welcoming and settling patients receiving haemodialysis treatment Preparing and maintaining dialysis machines Restocking and managing medical supplies Keeping the unit clean, safe, and patient-readyProviding refreshments and contributing to a warm, supportive care environment Physical requirements: This role includes regular manual handling of dialysis supplies (e.g., boxes of fluid concentrates weighing approximately 10kg), so a good level of physical fitness is essential.
