You will support with wider coordination work across the team, which will include management of shared team inboxes, minutes, team travel and finance.About the Team/Service/ Location The National Public Health Service (NPHS) within Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora, works towards Pae Ora (healthy futures) for all by engaging with the wider determinants that impact people's health, focusing on oranga/wellbeing, prevention, protection, and population-level intervention. We are connected across boundaries to deliver public health services that are nationally planned, regionally delivered and locally tailored.The role supports the Chief Public Health Clinical Officer which is a key clinical leadership position within NPHS and Health NZ. The team (8-10 people) leads NPHS' quality governance programme. About you As an experienced Executive Assistant, you will enjoy solving complex problems, are motivated by top-notch performance, and are someone that excels in a behind-the-scenes supporting role. To be successful you must be able to work at a fast-pace, juggle changing priorities, work cross-culturally and be someone that naturally enjoys an environment and role that is constantly changing.Previous experience in an Executive Assistant role providing support to a senior executive and their team Needs to draw on extensive administrative experience typically supported with professional qualifications–– 10 - 15 years Will ideally have experience in the health sector and understand core health terminology, and how clinical safety drives prioritiesExtensive experience working with senior leaders and customers / clients Extensive administration and coordination experience With the support of Health NZ, you will proactively take care of your own health and safety, to ensure a safe and supportive work environment.
