About the role: The Payments Platform offers a secure environment that enables superior payment experiences, empowering our customers with trusted payments. Within this platform, the Cards Domain supports the delivery of resilient, future-proofcard payment capabilities for all customers, including business and corporate clients.As a Software Specialist, you will: Apply your Card Payment expertise to lead the team in building, supporting, and maintaining applications. Contribute to the testing processes within the squad. You will be part of a team working to deliver and support a secure, functional, and high-performance ecosystem. You will engage with complex, enterprise-scale projects and participate in a smaller, autonomous squad where your voice and opinions are valued.Our squads are fully cross-functional, covering all facets of engineering daily. We seek a mix of payments experience and technical skills to support activities such as: Reviewing requirements and specifications. Creating agile testing strategies and plans. Building and supporting test automation and performance testing.Verifying and validating functionality. Analyzing and reporting test results. Paying attention to detail to identify issues (e.g., causality in payment transactions). Working with stakeholders for end-to-end testing and sign-off. Presenting testing approaches and outcomes to stakeholders. About you:We seek someone who champions quality goals, with an eye for detail and curiosity about how things work. You will collaborate effectively, acting as the voice of test engineering to improve and secure customer payment experiences. The ideal candidate will have: 10+ years of test engineering experience.3+ years of testing experience within the Card Payments industry. Experience with test simulators (e.g., FINSIM). Knowledge of functional, system, API, end-to-end, and performance testing. Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines. Understanding of Agile principles. Experience developing, maintaining, and executing test automation, including mentoring and defining test strategies, plans, and reports.Additional advantages include: Financial/banking domain experience.
