Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will act as a design authority for an automation engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. You will complete assignments on small projects or parts of larger projects cost-effectively, applying basic design thinking and design for excellence concepts. The work model is hybrid, contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries in Grafton, Auckland. Main stakeholders include project managers, supply chain, manufacturing, testing, and commissioning/support functions. Your main responsibilities include:Evaluating, selecting, and applying standard techniques and procedures for engineering assignments. Providing technical support during testing, installation, and commissioning activities. Assisting in preparing proposals and presentations for engineering projects. Performing design verification using checklists according to standards and guidelines.Qualifications for the role Strong skills in Project Engineering, with enjoyment in collaborating across teams and with the Energy Industries market. Experience in applying design thinking and design for excellence concepts in projects. Proficiency in evaluating, selecting, and applying standard engineering techniques.Passion for sharing best practices and lessons learned across projects and disciplines. Degree in Electrical Engineering with proven experience in testing, installation, and commissioning support. Good communication skills in English.
