This is a unique role offering the opportunity to teach an outstanding outdoor education programme that is well established and highly regarded. The role involves leading outdoor courses, including camps away from school and outside Auckland. You will collaborate with a dedicated team to develop your professional practice through a professional development programme. The position requires a commitment to the school’s co-curricular programme and attending Camp Week annually.Qualifications and Skills: A passion for the outdoors and leadership in outdoor activities. Knowledge of NCEA Level 2 and Level 3 Physical Education Achievement Standards. Qualifications and experience in rock climbing, mountain biking, bushcraft, sea kayaking, and whitewater kayaking.Understanding and commitment to health and safety legislation and outdoor education regulations. For suitable candidates, leadership responsibilities and allowances may be available. Current full driver’s license and first aid certificate are required.
